Harvard Bridge
Bring a little Boston and Cambridge home.
Unframed Matte Poster · 11 × 14 inches
After the day's comings and goings, a few minutes at home can include looking a little more closely at the wall picture. Harvard Bridge's long span puts Massachusetts Avenue across the Charles, bringing an everyday Boston and Cambridge route into the river's open setting.
Harvard Bridge's initial construction ran from 1887 to 1891, followed by later alterations recorded in the Historic American Engineering Record. The crossing carries Massachusetts Avenue between Boston and Cambridge. Its long river span places an everyday route within the broader history of engineering and movement across the Charles.
The crossing connects the two cities' streets with a history of construction and alteration, keeping daily passage alongside the engineering recorded for the bridge. Choose the size for your wall, then frame the view to suit the room.
