Forest Grove Road Causeway
Bring a little Waltham home.
Slate Desk Plaque · 11 × 7 inches
Keep a picture beside the day's work, somewhere you can see it without leaving the desk. Forest Grove Road's causeway brings Waltham's river landscape into view, with the wider Upper Charles reservation behind this particular local setting.
Forest Grove Road lies within the Upper Charles River Reservation landscape in Waltham. State records describe riverbank restoration and greenway work during the 1990s. This view belongs to that broader story of making room for public paths and native planting along a river once closely associated with industry.
The reservation's documented restoration and greenway work connect the view with public use of the riverbank, without assigning an unverified date to the causeway. It can sit among a few favorite books, giving the shelf a particular local subject as well as something to read.
