Boston Manufacturing Company
Bring a little Waltham home.
Rocks Glass · Clear · 10 oz
A glass of water at the table can be a small pause in the day. Waltham's Boston Manufacturing Company buildings bring the Charles and the mill's successive sections together, giving textile history a particular riverside setting.
The Boston Manufacturing Company was founded in Waltham in 1813. Its first mill followed in 1814, a second in 1816, and a connecting section in 1843. The buildings beside the Charles record successive stages of textile production, with the river and mill infrastructure closely tied to the enterprise.
The first mill, second mill and connector make growth part of this Waltham story, keeping different phases of the workplace within one river landscape. Keep it ready for water at the table or a drink with friends, giving the picture a place in an ordinary gathering.
