Anderson Memorial Bridge
Bring a little Cambridge and Boston home.
Slate Desk Plaque · 11 × 7 inches
Set down the pen and take a moment to look up from the desk. Anderson Memorial Bridge gives Boston and Cambridge a crossing beside Harvard's riverfront, with a long-established route behind the recognizable bridge setting.
Anderson Memorial Bridge dates to 1915, with earlier crossings on the route reaching back to 1662. Harvard's property history identifies Wheelwright and Haven among its architects. The bridge connects Boston and Cambridge beside the university's riverfront, carrying a long history of passage across the Charles into a recognizable setting.
The bridge connects the modern riverfront with earlier crossings on the same route, keeping the place of passage as important as the date of this structure. Set it beside your books, or give it as a local view that needs a shelf rather than wall space.
