Assabet River
Bring a little Hudson home.
Corkwood Coaster Set · Four pieces · 3.75 × 3.75 inches
When the kettle boils, these coasters give the cups a place on the table. A low weir crosses the Assabet in Hudson, giving moving water and a modest river structure the center of this source view.
Daderot's December 2018 photograph shows a low weir on the Assabet River in Hudson. The exact dam name has not been established, so the view retains its river identity. Water and the low crossing structure give the image its particular setting without attaching an unsupported industrial history.
The weir keeps water and a low river structure together in Hudson's Assabet view, giving the town's river landscape a subject beyond its street buildings. Keep one beside the reading chair and the others ready for guests, letting the picture join a quiet cup or a visit.
