Bird'S-Eye View, 1878
Bring a little Marlborough home.
Metal Art Sign · 7 × 5 inches
An indoor wall near the entryway or desk is somewhere you pass often, with time to notice the sign's picture between setting down your keys and the next task. Marlborough's bird's-eye view gathers streets and buildings into one picture, giving you more than one small town detail to return to.
The Marlborough bird's-eye lithograph carries the year 1878 on the sheet itself. Its elevated, illustrated view gathers streets and buildings into one composition. This artwork interprets that published town panorama, retaining its identity as an imagined viewpoint used to present the community as a whole.
The panorama presents Marlborough as a whole community. Hang it where there is room for a local view, with the story there to share when someone asks about the subject.
