DeWolfe Boathouse
Bring a little Cambridge home.
Rocks Glass · Clear · 10 oz
After setting out water for a visit, there is a little time to look at the picture on the glass. Boston University's DeWolfe Boathouse gives rowing on the Charles a riverfront home, with a recent building continuing an older university connection to the water.
Boston University's DeWolfe Boathouse was built in 1999 and dedicated that October. It replaced a demolished century-old boathouse, continuing an established connection between the university and the Charles. The riverfront building belongs to a working rowing landscape, where access to the water matters as much as the view.
The replacement boathouse links the university's rowing setting with a new building, keeping a working use of the Charles within a recognizable Boston view. Use it for water or a favorite drink, keeping the picture around the table.
