DeWolfe Boathouse
Bring a little Cambridge home.
Corkwood Coaster Set · Four pieces · 3.75 × 3.75 inches
A visit from friends can begin with setting down cups and glasses, leaving a moment to notice the pictures beneath them. Boston University's DeWolfe Boathouse gives rowing on the Charles a riverfront home, with a recent building continuing an older university connection to the water.
Boston University's DeWolfe Boathouse was built in 1999 and dedicated that October. It replaced a demolished century-old boathouse, continuing an established connection between the university and the Charles. The riverfront building belongs to a working rowing landscape, where access to the water matters as much as the view.
The replacement boathouse links the university's rowing setting with a new building, keeping a working use of the Charles within a recognizable Boston view. Keep the set beside the cups for tea or a visit with friends.
