Car Barn & Powerhouse
Bring a little Maynard home.
Metal Art Sign · 7 × 5 inches
The space beside a shelf can hold a view as well as the things you use. Tracks curve toward the Maynard trolley bays, with a brick chimney behind them and the cars gathered at their working home.
Maynard's car barn and powerhouse appear in a postcard mailed in 1906. Curving tracks lead toward trolley cars in their bays, with a tall brick chimney behind. Together, those details show the buildings and equipment that supported the street railway beyond the cars people saw in town.
The car barn shows the facilities behind a streetcar journey, keeping Maynard's transport story attached to the people and equipment that supported it. Choose an indoor wall near the things you use each day, so the view is part of coming and going at home.
