Clara Barton Birthplace — Oxford, Massachusetts Woven Blanket
Home Decor · Artwork / 60" × 50"
Home has a way of finding you in the smallest moments. A sunny afternoon. A blanket by the window. A small white farmhouse in North Oxford, with the flag flying out front. This Clara Barton Birthplace blanket brings that feeling home.
Captain Stephen Barton built this farmhouse around 1818, and his daughter Clara was born here on Christmas Day 1821. She would become a Civil War nurse and the founder of the American Red Cross. The house has been open as the Clara Barton Birthplace Museum since the 1920s.
Maybe Oxford is where you grew up or where your family put down roots. Keep this 60″ × 50″ woven blanket on the couch, or give it to someone who would smile at the name. A familiar place, a little closer to home.
