Evangelical Church
Bring a little Westborough home.
Corkwood Coaster Set · Four pieces · 3.75 × 3.75 inches
The cups are ready for tea, with coasters set out around the table and a little time to notice the pictures before everyone settles into a seat. Westborough's church steeple rises above West Main Street, while two children give the old street view a human scale.
A postcard mailed in 1906 shows Westborough's Evangelical Congregational Church along West Main Street. Its historic steeple rises above the street, with two children nearby. The view places a community building within the ordinary life of the town, rather than showing it in isolation.
Church and street belong together here, keeping Westborough's community life in view alongside the architecture of a recognizable gathering place. Use the set when friends come over, with a view under each drink and the local connection there to share.
