Houghton Memorial
Bring a little Littleton home.
Rocks Glass · Clear · 10 oz
The next drink can sit beside a book or a few minutes with friends at the table. Arched windows and a central entrance give the Houghton Memorial illustration a clear focus, with Littleton's named building framed by bare trees.
Littleton's Houghton Memorial Building appears in the frontispiece of the Historical Society's 1896 proceedings. The publication preserves a clear local landmark within the town's own historical record. This is a separate subject from the earlier Town Hall and library, keeping the two buildings' identities intact.
The Historical Society's proceedings preserved this Littleton building as a frontispiece, making the town's own published record part of the view's local connection. A quiet evening, a book and a glass of water leave room for the view as part of a simple moment at home.
