John Farnum House — Uxbridge, Massachusetts Woven Blanket
Home Decor · Artwork / 60" × 50"
Home has a way of finding you in the smallest moments. A cool fall afternoon. A blanket across your lap. A red house under a golden canopy of leaves. This John Farnum House blanket brings that feeling home.
John Farnum built this house around 1710, on land that was still part of Mendon. In 1727 it hosted the very first Uxbridge town meeting, and in 1980 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. Today it is cared for as a museum by the town's Historical Commission and Historical Society.
Maybe Uxbridge is where you grew up or where your family put down roots. Keep this 60″ × 50″ woven blanket on the couch, or give it to someone who would smile at the name. A familiar place, a little closer to home.
