New Bridge
Bring a little Acton home.
Unframed Matte Poster · 11 × 14 inches
Give the wall beside your reading space a picture with details to notice when you look up from a page. South Acton's New Bridge puts a trolley route above railway tracks, bringing two ways of getting around into one small scene.
South Acton's New Bridge carried a trolley over railroad tracks. The postcard preserved by the Maynard Historical Society shows two kinds of transport sharing one village landscape. This is a road and trolley overpass; the water crossings elsewhere in the valley have their own stories.
The overpass offers a particular South Acton story about routes crossing, useful for someone who enjoys the working details of village transport. Frame it in a way that suits the room and keep the historical connection nearby for anyone curious about the picture.
