Old Town Centre
Bring a little Boxborough home.
Corkwood Coaster Set · Four pieces · 3.75 × 3.75 inches
The cups are ready for tea, with coasters set out around the table and a little time to notice the pictures before everyone settles into a seat. Boxborough's church, Cobleigh house and parsonage sit within one old town-center view, giving neighboring buildings room to be noticed together.
The frontispiece of Boxborough's 1891 history shows the Congregational church, Cobleigh house and parsonage around the old town centre. The full streetscape is the subject. It records neighboring buildings as a shared village setting, where domestic and community life stood close together.
The streetscape connects a home with community gathering places, keeping Boxborough's village relationships as important as any single building in the scene. Use the set when friends come over, with a view under each drink and the local connection there to share.
