Railroad Station
Bring a little Hudson home.
Square Magnet · 4 × 4 inches
Between checking a list and leaving the kitchen, there is a moment to look at the small picture on the fridge. Hudson's depot, tracks and people bring a railway building into its working surroundings, giving the station view a place of arrival to focus on.
A postcard described by its source as postmarked in 1912 shows Hudson's railroad depot, tracks and people. The station gives the view its local identity. This interpretation keeps the railway scene grounded in the source without assigning an unverified branch or treating the depot as a riverfront building.
The depot adds a transport place to Hudson's history, a specific local scene to share without assigning a railway branch the source does not establish. Keep it beside a note or list you want to see again.
