North Acton Railroad Station
Bring a little Acton home.
Metal Art Sign · 7 × 5 inches
An indoor wall near the entryway or desk is somewhere you pass often, with time to notice the sign's picture between setting down your keys and the next task. North Acton's gabled station roof and platform give you a railway detail to notice between a few ordinary tasks.
North Acton's gabled railroad station and platform appear in an early twentieth-century postcard preserved by the Maynard Historical Society. The archive identifies it with the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad. That small station connects this quiet view to the village's railway history.
The station puts a small village stop within a larger railway story. Hang it where there is room for a local view, with the story there to share when someone asks about the subject.
