Slatersville Center Mill — North Smithfield, Rhode Island Woven Blanket
Home Decor · Artwork / 60" × 50"
Home has a way of finding you in the smallest moments. A bright autumn morning. A blanket to curl up in. A stone mill and its tall bell tower watching over the village. This Slatersville Mill blanket brings that feeling home.
Slatersville was laid out by Samuel and John Slater in 1806–1807 as one of America’s first planned mill villages. When the first mill burned, the stone Center Mill with its bell tower replaced it in 1826. Since 2007 the restored mills have been apartments, still the heart of the village.
Maybe North Smithfield is where you grew up or where your family put down roots. Keep this 60″ × 50″ woven blanket on the couch, or give it to someone who would smile at the name. A familiar place, a little closer to home.
