State Armory
Bring a little Lawrence home.
Square Magnet · 4 × 4 inches
Before leaving the kitchen, check the week's list and the note about your next appointment, with the magnet's little picture sharing that well-used spot on the fridge. Crenellated cylindrical towers give Lawrence's State Armory a distinctive profile, with masonry and the two rounded forms offering details to notice through the day.
Lawrence's State Armory appears in Art Works of Lawrence and Vicinity, published in 1893. Lawrence Public Library preserves the image through Digital Commonwealth. The named public building belongs to the city's civic landscape, with the historical source grounding this interpretation without implying institutional endorsement.
The armory's towers add a civic subject to Lawrence's illustrated history, keeping this public building alongside the city's workplaces in the regional record. Keep it beside a note or list you want to see again.
