State Armory
Bring a little Lawrence home.
Metal Art Sign · 7 × 5 inches
A small wall view can catch your eye between coming home and setting down your keys. Crenellated cylindrical towers give Lawrence's State Armory a distinctive profile, with masonry and the two rounded forms offering details to notice through the day.
Lawrence's State Armory appears in Art Works of Lawrence and Vicinity, published in 1893. Lawrence Public Library preserves the image through Digital Commonwealth. The named public building belongs to the city's civic landscape, with the historical source grounding this interpretation without implying institutional endorsement.
The armory's towers add a civic subject to Lawrence's illustrated history, keeping this public building alongside the city's workplaces in the regional record. Hang it where there is room for a local view, with the story there to share when someone asks about the subject.
