State Armory
Bring a little Lawrence home.
Corkwood Coaster Set · Four pieces · 3.75 × 3.75 inches
The cups are ready for tea, with coasters set out around the table and a little time to notice the pictures before everyone settles into a seat. Crenellated cylindrical towers give Lawrence's State Armory a distinctive profile, with masonry and the two rounded forms offering details to notice through the day.
Lawrence's State Armory appears in Art Works of Lawrence and Vicinity, published in 1893. Lawrence Public Library preserves the image through Digital Commonwealth. The named public building belongs to the city's civic landscape, with the historical source grounding this interpretation without implying institutional endorsement.
The armory's towers add a civic subject to Lawrence's illustrated history, keeping this public building alongside the city's workplaces in the regional record. Keep the set beside the cups for tea or a visit with friends.
