The Charles River from Weston Bridge, Auburndale, Mass.
Bring a little Newton and Weston home.
Unframed Matte Poster · 11 × 14 inches
Give the wall beside your reading space a picture with details to notice when you look up from a page. The Charles is seen from Weston Bridge at Auburndale, with the Norumbega Park recreation reach giving the water view its local relationship.
Rotograph's 1905 panorama shows the Charles from Weston Bridge at Auburndale. The Library of Congress places the view within the Norumbega Park recreation landscape. Boats, water and the riverbank belong to the postcard's account of a popular reach of the Charles at the beginning of the twentieth century.
The viewpoint connects a crossing with the river's recreational landscape, keeping a particular Auburndale reach within the Charles Lakes District's historical record. Give it space near a favorite chair, where there is time to look more closely at the picture.
