Uxbridge's heritage landscape inventory identifies the former Providence and Worcester railroad depot on Main Street as a historic train station. Rail transportation connected the Blackstone Valley's communities with wider industrial markets. The depot belongs to that story of movement through the valley, alongside its roads and canal.
