Unitarian Meetinghouse
Bring a little Berlin home.
Metal Art Sign · 7 × 5 inches
An indoor wall near the entryway or desk is somewhere you pass often, with time to notice the sign's picture between setting down your keys and the next task. The bell tower and decorated gable distinguish Berlin's Unitarian Meetinghouse, giving the eye two details to return to in the building's facade.
Berlin's Unitarian Meetinghouse was dedicated on March 1, 1882. The 1895 town history records its unusual bell tower and decorated front gable. Those recognizable architectural features give this community landmark its particular character and preserve a view of the town's nineteenth-century religious life.
This meetinghouse carries a specific part of Berlin's religious and architectural history, rather than an unnamed church silhouette from any village. Give the sign a place indoors where you can notice its picture during the day.
