Bernat Mill
Bring a little Uxbridge home.
Matte vertical poster on museum-grade archival paper (175 g/m²), printed with pigmented inks. Available in 11 × 14 in and 18 × 24 in. · 11″ x 14″ / Matte
A close look at Bernat Mill, one of the buildings that gives Uxbridge its distinct industrial landscape. A matte print that gives the illustration room to show its finer details.
The Uxbridge heritage landscape inventory identifies the Bernat Mill complex on Depot Street beside the Mumford River, also recording its earlier association with the Capron mills and Uxbridge Worsted Company. The site developed over many decades as part of the town's textile industry. The inventory records a major fire in July 2007 that destroyed much of the complex. Its history illustrates both the industrial growth of the valley and the vulnerability of the buildings that carried that work.
Give a familiar Uxbridge scene a place on your wall, or share it with someone whose memories belong to the town.
