Wood Building
Bring a little Hudson home.
Corkwood Coaster Set · Four pieces · 3.75 × 3.75 inches
A coaster beside the reading chair is ready for the next cup. Hudson's Wood Building gives a named street facade a place in the picture, a local architectural detail to notice during an ordinary pause.
Daderot's December 2018 photograph records Hudson's Wood Building facade. The recognizable frontage gives this architectural view its local identity. It adds a named building to the record of Hudson's streets, with the photograph preserving its appearance at that particular time in the town's changing landscape.
The frontage ties this picture to Hudson's streets, keeping one named facade within the town's architectural record rather than attaching an unverified account of its earlier uses. Put them where the kettle's cups are usually gathered, so the view has a place in the ordinary routine of tea at home.
