Our story
Ask someone where they’re from, and sometimes the town name is only the beginning. They’ll tell you which village, which end of town, or what used to stand on that corner.
We’re those people, too. We grew up here, and we’re raising our families here. We care about the old mills, the neighborhood landmarks, and the stories we heard growing up. We started Familiar History because we wanted to make something for the people who see those places and say, “That’s home.”
That’s the feeling we want our pieces to carry. The recognition when you spot a familiar building. The conversation that starts when someone notices your shirt. The gift you find for the person who moved away but still calls this place home.
